QAHE Partners with Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA)

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) institute is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA).

AROQA is a regional organization founded by Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the vision of raising the level of education in the Arab world and helping educational institutions keep up with the latest developments in the field. The key objectives of AROQA are:

• Spreading a culture of quality in educational institutions to provide equal and fair access to quality education
• Preparing institutions for local, regional, and international competition by developing quality and accreditation standards
• Enabling institutions to self-assess and build continuous improvement plans

Through this partnership, QAHE and AROQA will collaborate in the following areas:
• Institutional and programmatic accreditation of universities and higher education providers
• Promoting quality assurance departments within educational institutions
• Capacity building through training courses and workshops
• Provision of educational consultancy and project management services
• Joint organization of the annual AROQA conference and publication of the Arab Journal of Quality in Education

The partnership between QAHE and AROQA marks a significant milestone in the effort to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement in the Arab higher education sector.

About AROQA:
The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is an international non-profit independent association established in Belgium in July 2007 with the fundamental objective of raising the quality of education in the Arab world. To this end, AROQA will: Establish links and work closely with international accreditation bodies to facilitate standard setting, benchmarking and the dissemination of good practice across the Arab world and internationally Coordinate with local Arab accreditation agencies concerning accreditation standards The Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA) is a regional organization founded by Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with the aim of raising the level of education in the Arab world.
