We are thrilled to announce that QAHE has reached an MOU with the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research, the Republic of Moldova (ANACEC). This collaborative agreement marks a significant milestone in fostering cooperation and enhancing quality assurance practices in the education and academic quality sectors.
ANACEC, formerly known as the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education (ANACIP), was established by Government Decision no. 652/2014. Undergoing a reform in 2017, ANACIP was officially renamed the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research (ANACEC) through Government Decision no. 201/2018. As a legal public body, ANACEC holds the responsibility of ensuring quality assurance in the field of education and research within the Republic of Moldova. The agency collaborates with central and local public authorities, as well as international bodies, further cementing its commitment to excellence.
ANACEC's affiliation with the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) further demonstrates their dedication to upholding rigorous quality standards. Additionally, ANACEC has engaged in strategic partnerships with other reputable quality assurance bodies, such as the Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Education and Healthcare (ECAQA) of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The MOU signed between QAHE and ANACEC signifies a shared vision to advance quality assurance practices in pre-tertiary and higher education. This collaboration will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices in quality assurance, ultimately benefiting educational institutions, students, and stakeholders within both regions.
We are confident that this partnership will foster greater dialogue, cooperation, and mutual growth in the field of quality assurance. By working together, QAHE and ANACEC aim to contribute to the continuous improvement of educational standards and research excellence. We extend our sincere congratulations to QAHE and ANACEC on this momentous achievement. Together, they are poised to make significant strides in promoting and strengthening quality assurance in education and research.
