QAHE Signs Memorandum of Understanding with The Information Systems Security Association, Egypt Chapter

We are delighted to announce that the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Information Systems Security Association, Egypt Chapter (ISSA Egypt). This collaboration aims to foster cooperation and mutual support in the field of information security and cyber security.

The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a globally recognized, not-for-profit organization comprising information security professionals and practitioners. It serves as the community of choice for cyber security professionals worldwide, dedicated to advancing individual growth, managing technology risk, and safeguarding critical information and infrastructure.

ISSA Egypt, established in 2008, was founded with the mission of raising awareness about cyber security issues in the Middle East. Led by Dr. Mohamed El-Guindy as the president and founder, ISSA Egypt is an official chapter of ISSA and is recognized by the Egyptian government. The chapter holds a prominent position on the e-government website in the section related to international organizations working in information security and cyber security policies. Additionally, ISSA Egypt is a member of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs under non-governmental organizations.

The collaboration between QAHE and ISSA Egypt will create opportunities for knowledge exchange, professional development, and cooperation in the field of information security. Through educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities, ISSA Egypt provides its members with avenues to enhance their knowledge, skills, and professional growth.
