QAHE Partners With IARC For Dual Accreditation Agreement

Sep 03, 2024

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Accreditation, Rating and Certification Institute (IARC) to establish a partnership and recognition agreement for dual accreditation.

Signed on June 28, 2024, the MoU outlines the collaborative framework between QAHE and IARC, two leading international organizations dedicated to promoting quality assurance in pre-university and higher education. Through this partnership, QAHE and IARC will work together to streamline the accreditation process and provide institutions with the opportunity to obtain dual accreditation, strengthening their global recognition and credibility.

Under the terms of the agreement, QAHE and IARC will recognize each other's accreditation decisions, enabling institutions accredited by one organization to automatically receive the other's accreditation. This dual accreditation will provide institutions with enhanced global visibility, access to broader student markets, and the ability to demonstrate their adherence to the highest international quality standards.

The establishment of the QAHE-IARC partnership and dual accreditation agreement is a testament to the organizations' dedication to fostering international cooperation and harmonizing quality assurance practices in the higher education sector. This landmark initiative will pave the way for increased mobility, recognition, and academic quality for institutions and their students worldwide.
