We are delighted to announce that the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Institute of Forensic Accountants (IFA), Nigeria, for reciprocal recognition.
Established under Decree No.1 of 1990, the Institute of Forensic Accountants (IFA) is a professional institute that provides bona fide qualifications for Forensic Accountants through the administration of Professional Examinations. Due to the complex nature of Forensic Accounting, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) had to seek the written consent/approval of the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, Nigeria, and the Federal Ministry of Justice, Abuja, Nigeria, in the process of incorporating the Institute of Forensic Accountants (IFA), Nigeria.
The MOU signed between QAHE and IFA will enable both institutions to mutually recognize each other's qualifications and certifications, thereby promoting the development and recognition of high-quality education in Forensic Accounting and related fields.
This collaboration between QAHE and IFA is a significant milestone in promoting educational excellence and enhancing the professional development of individuals in the field of Forensic Accounting. We are confident that this partnership will lead to more opportunities for students, professionals, and institutions to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of Forensic Accounting.
