Nov 23, 2023

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the E-Learning Quality Network (ELQN). This partnership aims to elevate the standards of e-learning and foster excellence in the digital learning landscape.

ELQN, based in the USA, is a premier hub for e-learning excellence. With a vision to enhance the quality of online education, ELQN brings together institutions, educators, instructional designers, and technology enthusiasts dedicated to creating immersive and impactful learning experiences. Their network is built on the principles of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The collaboration between QAHE and ELQN is a significant step towards advancing the quality assurance of e-learning services globally. By leveraging their collective expertise, the two organizations will work together to enhance processes, share best practices, and promote high-quality e-learning services.

ELQN's global reach and commitment to e-learning best practices align perfectly with QAHE's mission to promote quality assurance in education. Through this partnership, both organizations will collaborate on research, share resources, and provide guidance to help institutions thrive in the ever-evolving e-learning landscape.

As the demand for online education continues to grow, the collaboration between QAHE and ELQN will play a vital role in setting benchmarks, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of quality in e-learning.

QAHE also welcomes ELQN to apply for accreditation, as membership with ELQN does not automatically confer accreditation from QAHE. Both organizations recognize the importance of maintaining rigorous accreditation processes to ensure the highest standards of quality in e-learning. Institutions and professionals associated with ELQN who seek QAHE accreditation must follow a separate application process specifically designed to assess compliance with QAHE's accreditation criteria. Similarly, QAHE members interested in ELQN membership will need to complete ELQN's membership application process. This mutual recognition emphasizes the commitment of both organizations to upholding robust quality assurance practices and promoting excellence in e-learning globally.
