QAHE Appoints Dr. Hanif Barker as Country Representative (UAE)

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Hanif Barker as its new Country Representative for the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Hanif Barker brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having served as the Chief Operations Officer at the UAE Ministry of Education for the past 5 years. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in driving education reforms and enhancing the quality of higher education institutions across the Emirates.

Prior to his role at the Ministry, Barker held senior leadership positions at several leading universities in the UAE, including as the Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Dubai and the Dean of the College of Business at Zayed University. His deep understanding of the regional higher education landscape and his proven track record of success make him an ideal candidate for this important position.

As the QAHE Country Representative for the UAE, Barker will be responsible for strengthening the organization's presence and partnerships in the country. He will work closely with higher education institutions, government agencies, and stakeholders to promote QAHE's mission of ensuring quality and excellence in pre-tertiary and higher education.
