QAHE Announces Strategic Partnership with NICTSCE
Nov 19, 2024The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Nigeria Council for Theological Studies and Christian Education (NICTSCE) Abuja. This significant collaboration aims to enhance quality assurance in education through mutual recognition of accreditation processes for their respective member institutions.
Purpose of the MOU
The MOU establishes a strategic alliance between QAHE and NICTSCE, focusing on the following objectives:
- Fostering Collaboration: Strengthening cooperation in quality assurance practices in education.
- Mutual Recognition: Promoting the recognition of accredited programs and institutions that meet the standards set by both organizations.
- Enhancing Educational Quality: Sharing resources, best practices, and expertise to improve the quality of education offered by member institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Under this MOU, both organizations have committed to various responsibilities:
- QAHE will provide guidelines and criteria for accreditation aligned with international standards, facilitate training workshops, and recognize accredited institutions from NICTSCE.
- NICTSCE will offer accreditation guidelines specific to theological studies, conduct training workshops for QAHE members, and recognize accredited institutions from QAHE.
