Universal Institute of Professional Management UIPM was registered with International accreditation in 2012. Then UIPM (Universal Institute of Professional Management) has been a provider of Distance Education since becoming a Member of the European Distance and E-Learning Network - EDEN in 2017. Then following that UIPM was trusted as a member of the Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN), because APQN is a forum for these institutions. Government agencies throughout Asia Pacific that accredit universities in their respective countries. Thus UIPM is aligned with Government Accreditation Institutions in the Asia Pacific Region. Then UIPM won the trust of the UNGC-United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC). In the online education system, UIPM is affiliated with the EdX system from Harvard University and MIT, Coursera, and the Blockchain Council providing online access to the world's best education. This Affiliate Program uses the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) System. In organizing Distance Education, UIPM applies an Online Learning Method known as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), which are free online courses that anyone can take. INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION UIPM Singapore laid the foundation for UIPM to be managed with a Global Managing, Global Education, Global Students system which is implemented in various countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India, Africa and the USA. UIPM Global Managing led by Prof. Dr. A. Rasheed Gaffoor as Global President and Prof. Dr. Relawati Abdul Malik as President of UIPM Singapore.
3.1. Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) Besides UIPM Singapore as the Global Managing Center, it is also a member of APQN (the Asia Pacific Quality Network). APQN is the largest and most influential international organization for higher education in Asia Pacific, and is a forum for a collection of Ministries of Education in Asia Pacific which has a Quality Higher Education Network. Among them, the Malaysian government's Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Indonesian government's National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT) are both members of APQN. APQN aims to improve the quality of higher education in the Asia and Pacific region through strengthening quality assurance organizations and expanding cooperation among members. UIPM MUN (Model United Nations) UIPM is licensed as an organizer of Model United Nations together with UNHCR, United Nations Refugee Agency, Challenge of Model United Nations Delegations around the world to debate key issues related to forced displacement. Model UN is an academic simulation of the United Nations in which students take on the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world problems using the policies and opinions of their allocated countries. For example, a student might be assigned to the UK and asked to address global issues such as nuclear nonproliferation or climate change using the policies and opinions of that country. ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
The academic structure is an academic activity that has been included in the official education system of an agency that allows it to be applied to higher education. The UIPM Academic Council System, UIPM Faculty Policies and Procedures, and accreditation bodies provide the framework for each component of the academic structure.
