Dr. Pius' academic journey is marked by outstanding achievements and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. He earned his Honours Professional Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Medical Laboratory Sciences, from the University of Dschang. Furthering his studies, he obtained a Master of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of General Medicine Degree with research from the University of Yaoundé 1. Dr. Pius also holds a Specialist Certificate of Clinical Sciences with a Pediatric specialization and has acquired supplementary certificates in child psychology and medical research.
Continuing his academic pursuits, Dr. Pius completed a dual Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Human Biology from Selinus University, with co-tutoring from California University-FCE. His research focuses on the psychosocial dimensions of perinatality in Cameroonian women, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in this field.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Pius has made significant contributions in his professional capacity as a physician. He serves as a civil servant for the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, where he plays a vital role in enhancing the healthcare system and promoting the well-being of patients.
Dr. Pius' exceptional achievements have garnered him numerous professional and scientific accolades. He was honored with the "First Class" Pediatric Intern Award from Cameroon pediatric interns and residents, recognizing his exemplary performance. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed title of "First Class" Cameroon Pediatrician and has been awarded the World Certification Master Clinician Award from the Accreditation of High-Quality Standard Education. Dr. Pius has actively participated in professional associations, including his prestigious role as the Premier-Chairman of the Association of Cameroon Pediatric Interns and Former Pediatric Interns.
Internationally, Dr. Pius' contributions to scientific research have been recognized through the Distinguished Scholar Award from the European Journal of Scientific Research. This esteemed accolade acknowledges his groundbreaking work in highlighting the negative impact of specific psycho-sociocultural influences on the breastfeeding process.
