This esteemed recognition highlights Dr. Pius' outstanding contributions and expertise in the field of medical sciences, particularly in pediatric care and research. Dr. Pius has demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to his academic pursuits. His educational journey began at the University of Dschang, where he obtained a Honours Professional Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a Major in Medical Laboratory Sciences. He further pursued his studies at the University of Yaoundé 1, earning a Master of Medical Sciences and a Doctor of General Medicine Degree with research. Additionally, Dr. Pius obtained a Specialist Certificate of Clinical Sciences with a Pediatric specialization, along with several supplementary certificates in child psychology and medical research. Continuing his academic pursuits, Dr. Pius completed a dual Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Human Biology from Selinus University, with co-tutoring from California University-FCE. His research focuses on the psychosocial dimensions of perinatality in Cameroonian women, and he is currently working on a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in this field. Dr. Pius' professional experience is equally impressive, encompassing his role as a physician since his graduation from medical school. He serves as a civil servant for the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, contributing to the healthcare system and the well-being of patients. In recognition of his exceptional achievements, Dr. Pius has received various professional and scientific credentials. He was honored with the "First Class" Pediatric Intern Award from Cameroon pediatric interns and residents. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed title of "First Class" Cameroon Pediatrician with the World Certification Master Clinician Award from the Accreditation of High-Quality Standard Education. Dr. Pius has also been actively involved in professional associations, including his role as the Premier-Chairman of the Association of Cameroon Pediatric Interns and Former Pediatric Interns. His contributions to scientific research have been recognized internationally, with the Distinguished Scholar Award from the European Journal of Scientific Research. This accolade acknowledges his work on highlighting the negative impact of certain psycho-sociocultural influences on the breastfeeding process.
