The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) would like to alert the public and educational institutions worldwide regarding the unauthorized use of QAHE logos and clarify our accreditation process.
Unauthorized Use of QAHE Logos:
It has come to our attention that unauthorized individuals and organizations have been using QAHE logos without proper authorization. We strongly condemn such actions and want to emphasize that the use of QAHE logos without explicit permission is strictly prohibited. We reserve all rights to claim for any misstatement and unauthorized use of our logos and name. Such unauthorized use not only diminishes the integrity and value of our accreditation but also causes unfairness to our properly accredited institutions.
Joint Institutional Accreditation:
QAHE does not jointly award institutional accreditation with any other organization. While we have reached Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) for reciprocal recognition with certain accrediting bodies, it is important to note that this does not automatically grant accreditation to institutions accredited by our partners. All institutions seeking QAHE accreditation must undergo the same rigorous accreditation process to ensure compliance with our standards and guidelines.
Verification of Accreditation:
We strongly encourage candidates, institutions, and stakeholders to verify the accreditation status of any institution claiming QAHE accreditation. Our website provides a dedicated "Search Institutions" section where you can verify the validity and proper accreditation of institutions. It is crucial to check the expiry date of accreditation as we have observed instances where institutions falsely claim to be currently accredited by QAHE despite their accreditation having expired.
QAHE's Commitment to Excellence:
QAHE remains committed to maintaining the highest standards in quality assurance in pre-tertiary and higher education. We are dedicated to fostering academic excellence, promoting quality education, and supporting institutions in their pursuit of continuous improvement.
If you come across any unauthorized use of QAHE logos, misleading claims, or have concerns about the accreditation status of an institution, please contact us immediately. Together, we can ensure the integrity of QAHE accreditation and safeguard the interests of our properly accredited institutions.
