Yovonda Holmes-Shepherd is an esteemed educator and military professional with a demonstrated commitment to excellence. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, graduating Cum Laude from South Carolina State University. Yovonda also obtained a Master of Science in Higher Education, specializing in Teaching and Learning. Currently pursuing doctoral courses in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management, she is set to graduate in December 2023 with a Master of Science degree in Organization Leadership, focusing on Organizational Development within the field of education. Yovonda is a certified Mathematics teacher for grades 5 to 9 in the state of Florida.

Professional Experience
As the Director of Education, Yovonda has dedicated the past decade to creating innovative education programs for low-income schools. She ensures the quality of educational components, compliance with state and local requirements, and monitors student progress. Yovonda's dedication to education extends to her role as a mentor, tutor, and coach for a dance team consisting of troubled youth. Through dance, she empowers these young individuals, helping them find their voice and express themselves.

Military Service
Yovonda serves as an enlisted soldier in the United States military, holding the position of Human Resource Specialist. Her role involves document preparation, drafting requests, and overseeing official documentation for her fellow military personnel. Yovonda's service during the challenging times of the COVID crisis reflects her selflessness and dedication to her country.
